Penticton Safety Village Summer Camps

Penticton Safety Village is excited to share we will be holding Kids' Summer Camps this year at the Safety Village!!

* Ages 5 - 12 (children have to already completed kindergarten to attend.  They must be turning 6 years old by December 31).

* All camps are half days with drop off from 8:30 am - 9am and pick up from 12:30 pm - 1 pm.

* Weekly Registration is $175 with the exception of short weeks (July 1st & Aug 4th will be closed for stat holidays). Short week registration will be $140. That works out to $35 a day.

* Daily activities will include open bike time, arts and crafts related to the weekly theme, and group games.

Mad Science Madness Week - Summer Camp Description

Get ready to unleash your inner scientist and dive into a world of wild experiments, explosive reactions, and mind-blowing discoveries at Mad Science Madness Week! This week is all about exploring the fascinating (and sometimes messy) world of science through hands-on activities that will have you mixing, creating, and experimenting with all sorts of crazy concoctions.

Campers will become “mad scientists” as they conduct fun and wacky experiments like creating colorful slime and building volcanoes that erupt with fizzing lava. You’ll also get to try your hand at circuitry to create your own glowing creations! It’s a week full of learning, discovery, and a little bit of controlled chaos—because in the world of mad science, the messier, the better!

But don’t worry, there will be plenty of chances for team-based challenges and games to put your science knowledge to the test, including a “Science Showdown” where you’ll race against other teams to create the most epic science experiment.

Highlights:

• Slime Making: Mix your own colorful, gooey slime with various textures and watch it transform right before your eyes!

• Volcano Eruptions: Build your very own volcano and create an explosive, fizzy eruption that will have you amazed.

• Circuitry Creations: Learn the basics of electricity and make your own glowing light-up creations using simple circuits.

• Science Showdown: Team up to compete in exciting science challenges, putting your knowledge and creativity to the test in fun, fast-paced experiments!
