Penticton Safety Village Summer Camps

Penticton Safety Village is excited to share we will be holding Kids' Summer Camps this year at the Safety Village!!

* Ages 5 - 12 (children have to already completed kindergarten to attend.  They must be turning 6 years old by December 31).

* All camps are half days with drop off from 8:30 am - 9am and pick up from 12:30 pm - 1 pm.

* Weekly Registration is $175 with the exception of short weeks (July 1st & Aug 4th will be closed for stat holidays). Short week registration will be $140. That works out to $35 a day.

* Daily activities will include open bike time, arts and crafts related to the weekly theme, and group games.

Magic & Mayhem Week - Summer Camp Description

Step into a world of enchantment, mystery, and a little bit of mayhem at Magic & Mayhem Week! This week is for all the young witches, wizards, and magical beings who dream of casting spells, mixing potions, and adventuring in a world where anything is possible. Whether you're creating your very own wand, brewing up magical potions, or competing in the wildest Quidditch Obstacle Course, every day at camp is an opportunity to embrace the magic!

Campers will craft their own magical wands, personalize them with unique designs and materials, and learn the “spells” to make them truly magical. You’ll also dive into the art of potion-making, mixing colorful ingredients to create your own powerful concoctions (no cauldron required!). And for those looking for a little extra challenge, prepare to take on the Quidditch Obstacle Course, a fun and whimsical race filled with magical challenges that will test your wits, agility, and teamwork!

With a mix of creativity, adventure, and a touch of mayhem, this week will be full of surprises and fun for all who dare to enter the magical realm.

Highlights:

• Create Your Own Wand: Design and make your very own magical wand to cast spells, complete with unique decorations and enchanted energy.

• Potion-Making: Mix colorful ingredients and create your own magical potions, experimenting with fizzing and bubbling brews.

• Quidditch Obstacle Course: Challenge yourself in a whimsical, magic-themed obstacle course where teamwork, agility, and clever thinking are key.

• Magical Games & Challenges: Participate in enchanted games like “Wizard’s Relay” or “Spell Casting Challenge” that bring magic to life.

• Magical Costume Day: Dress up in your best magical attire for a fun costume contest to showcase your wizardly style.
